| How do you know we're screwed? Australia didn't even have a team in the Super 14 finals this year so I guess you could argue Australian rugby has taken a step backwards. A lot of our players will be returning after this series so let's see what you have to see then. |

your refering to the cup thats currently in South Africa's cabinet... the ARU just has is a piece of paper that says you have won two world cup twice, and probably a copy of those games on dvd, but no physical trophy in the cabinet unfortunately, there is plenty of dust building up in that trophy cabinet inglis hehehe
NZRU have every other trophy rugby has to offer though, except the super14 which doesnt count :-P |

Lets consider some facts here...
New Zealand have 37 Bled'sloe vctories... and Australia have 12
Longest time held by Australia is 5 years (1998-2002), and by New Zealand that would be 27 years (1951-1978)
Then when we think that in 13 years they have only 2 Trinations titles, and the ABs have 9... well... poor useless, hopeless buggers...
Actually I feel a but sorry for these pathetic Aussies, so who cares if they do win this year... lets give them some joy... Though after watching their struggling super 14 and adding to the fact that they haven't face any credible warm up teams yet (and so will be very undercooked), I'm not feeling very confident for them... |
