| Tialata was terrible in the scrums, yes. But his general play was much, much, improved. Cowan didn't have the best game but he wasn't our worst on the field. |

| It wasn't just Donald. We were told, this was the test that Tialata would stand up,they weren't wrong. He got stood up,bent over backwards, and splat out at scrum time,Cowan should be playing gridon,he's only a 1/4 back, some of them couldn't catch colds that night, and as for Donald,he should of limped off in the first minute, that chick should make the "SMASH THEM BRO"highlights,AND WHAT'S WILL THE CLOTHES STREAKING ? |

"First its the tight 5's fault because they didn't set the platform, then its the loose trio's fault because they didn't dominate the break down, then its Cowans turn because his pass wasn't fast enough"
Bloddy hell! that's an awesome observation you have there...please foward this to Ted and co asap! |

| hehe welcome back there renee i see you avoided our discusions earlier.anyway..the concept of style mismatches seems to be above and beyond your head as that where the topic has drifted. Your arguemnt for putting Mac ahead of the incumbent at 10 has been debunked enough in this thread so lets not revisit that. Try again... |

bloody hell, I can't believe the excuses coming out for Donald Duck. First its the tight 5's fault because they didn't set the platform, then its the loose trio's fault because they didn't dominate the break down, then its Cowans turn because his pass wasn't fast enough, then lets try Nonu because Donald Duck needs someone who can kick outside him, blah blah blah, its everyones fault except the Ducks.
Like RC mentioned, what happened last year when the Duck had DC outside him, he sucked the kumara then as well. He has the worlds best 1st5 guiding him through on a dry fast track and he still sucked the kumara.
I just can't understand comments from the little pi.xy, the crazyfella and others who are picking out the only 2 mistakes that Mac made in his time on the field and then claim he's not up to, but some how brief over the fact that the Duck made fist load fulls of mistakes over both tests and yet he should be perservered with. |

| You can't entirely credit him with the opened up opportunities just as you can't credit him for players handling errors...but hte it pretty obvious to see...Weepu helps to set the attacking platform much much better. |

| When Weepu came on the AB's botched 2 tries...one to Joe in the corner and one with Mac attacking the line with a dropped ball....how about that? |

And when Weepu came on how many tries were scored by the ABs then?
How about none.
Funny how it's all Cowans fault we don't score enough points then when wonderkid Weepu comes on we score nada.
Is that Cowans fault too? |

"Ah come on man, let the tired argument that Doanld needs a quality 12 go."
Agreed, he doesn't need a quality 12 as much as he needs a quality 9...give him Weepu and leave Cowan for the guys who like to stand deep with the boot... |

| It's nothing to do with 12. It's Donald. Because Carter and Evans never had this problem did they. |

Ah come on man, let the tired argument that Doanld needs a quality 12 go.
I remember a certain Dan Carter plating 12 last year in Hong Kong and I also remember him having to take over first-fuive after halftime to rescue the game after Donalds indecisive rubbish put us in the shyt.
Quit the cheap excuses and admit this guy is a waste of time and space.
As to the Aussie 'superteam'- they've only played against ratshyt opposition, of course they look good and as to all the talent they have in the backs- that doesn't mean shyt when they can't get the ball and our forwards will do all they can to make sure that happens. |

| Would it be fair to say that MCalister just doesnt look like his heart is in it at the moment?? from what i have observed on TV he doesnt look as though he is as hungry as he used to be with the two opportunities he has been given so far, he should be jumping out of his skin or beit like a kid in a candy store ~ excited and hungry... but i dont see that in this AB's sqaud at all at the moment, and this is the obvious difference between this current AB's team and the current crop of Wallabies... Robbie Deans is building a quote "super squad" at the moment and its scary to see, anyway just some thoughts to throw out there :-) |

Donald had a shocker. He struggles to fit that ABs jersey. One thing however (and its no attack on Nonu) I think if McCalister was at 12 Donald would be better as McCalister opens up more options on defence and tactical kicking.

| Nothing wrong with donald, put a decent loose forward trio in the pack to give him room and turn over ball that all 1st5s need. Hes won one and lost one without McCaw in the team, how many games did Carter win without McCaw last year |

| temptd2@rocketmail.com - it is certainly aninteresting question, I must admit there hasn't been too much said about it but I feel for guys like Kevin O'Neil, Eaton, Donnelly and others who have made the starting side for their team all year, it's a bit of a slap in the face. |

| I am not sure who the All Blacks were looking at during the Super14, but they must have been looking through rose tinted glasses if they thought Donald was up to All Black standards. He was useless then and shouldn't be allowed to bring oranges to the game let alone be allowed on the park wearing an all black jersey. I haven't watched a test match with so much disgust aimed at one player. Who in their right mind would put up a defensive bomb not once but three times in his own 22. Chip kicks should also be banned unless we are playing a minnow nation and are up 100 points. Donald should be playing club rugby at most. If your going to put a high kick to mid feild, ensure your forwards know what your doing. The under 20's showed how its done, well done guys. |
