| Its not about the players been cheats eugene, the SA refs were as crooked as a crooked thing, everybody knows that. The Bok's have been back since 1992, whats happened in that time that has been different to the years previous?? The refs mate, the refs. |

| In the ametuer days,the sth African refs were the biggest cheats in world rugby.Doesnt matter how close the ABs came to winning a series in sth Africa you always knew the yaapies were gonna have a last minute penalty or get away with something rediculous.The players knew it and im sure the refs knew they had to save their precious boks or they were for the chop.They reigned supreme cheats in their country until the game went professional and nuetral refs came in. |

| Yeah,he's doing his best to undo the good Jake White spent 4yrs building.Almost scr$wed up both tests.First with stupid replacements,then with stupid selection(Burger) and finally with comments(Saying Burger did'nt deserve to be yellow carded...youre right,PDV,it should have been red!!) |

| since 2000 until now we have been ranked the no.1 team 6 out of the past 9 seasons so what decline are you on about????,The ABs still have one of the highest winning ratio for any professional sports team to date and when we were ametuer we p1ssed all over everyone. |

Where were you in 2005 oli? Remember 3 fine games walking all over the 'best' lions team in decades. How many losses since 2000? Ill have you know uncle ted still has the highest winning percentage of any AB coach. Me thinks you are over-reacting to 3 poor performances this year ;) |

EXACTLY!, bang on there. So much emphasis on winning everything that the selections are reeking of desperation. To be fair Aus is in the same boat if only marginally ahead of NZ because there combinations are starting to gel. The AB's in the loosies need more time and so do the link players like 9 and 10. If they lose they lose, the important thing is to persist with players who work well together across the board...Crusaders are teh best example. |

Hey sprout, fact is the ABs still won. At no point did the Italians look like scoring even with the 'ities' spending 15 minutes in the ABs 22......
I don't get it! The ABs put three poor performances together and someone starts a ridiculous thread like this...! |

Yeah i agree,it's hardly a formidable side.They were harassed in the forwards and tentative in the backs.if Macalister is the answer for first 5,bring on the Tri.

| After a century All black supremacy in the rugby world,i couldn't help but feel that the quality of ABs game is in a slow decline since 2000, and looking at the class 2009, i can hardly name a player that can make the bench in the 1995 world cup side. plus i have never seen an AB side with so many faces that i couldn't name during the national anthem.. 54 mins in the 2nd half, and AB 13 and the mighty Italy 6,tats unimaginable 5 yrs ago. |
