| I fully agree with you on the test experience thing. Mealamu is a prime example. But then some players are just taking up valuable test spots that otherwise could've been used to bleed the new blood. I am of course coming from the perspective that the WC is 2 years out. Next year is too late imho to be trying new things. |

I think you make way too much light of the plyers being in there becasue they are favourites or otherwise. We have injuries and as recently shown SUPER Form is not a surefire indicator of form at interntioaojnl level. You can never discount test experience and agsint italy iof not ofr some mof the experience that wa there in the team we may well have seemn a bunch of well perofmed super players losing to the italian national side. Juts my opinion.
Wasn't it at the last world cup we saw Dad's army go all the way? I'll chalk that one up to experience and to some degree self belief and if it's one thing those limeys have it's a big opinion of themselves hahaha works for'em. Sometimes. |

From watching the news items last night it looks as simple as this.
Lote is paid mega $$$$
Lote is not playing well
Deans tells O'Neill Lote won't be a 1st choice winger
O'Neill sees red (as in the ARU accounts)
O'Neill manufactures a reason and ditches Lote to save money.
Doing it after the NRL transfer deadline just adds the coup-de-gras

| Have to agree here, Tuqiri's form has been hot and cold all year but mainly lukewarm. I dont think Deans is choosing his team based on reputation like NZ's first few tests but then OZ isn't going through a injury crisis like we are atm either. |

Bloody hell, I didn't know crutabs was juzz either!
As to that joke Tuqiri- he has been an ageing has-been for a few seasons now.
Let him bugger off back to the two state code and be a superstar again.
And Deans- he hasn't done any better than previous Wallaby coaches yet but this year will be the real acid test whether he is the great one or just a super coach. |
