We could've done with Tuitupou this Tri nations, safe hands and and plenty of mongrel.
And your list is not lost on anyone kiwi- but the funny thing is I agree with 75% of them.

what would the AB's do right now for a #8 like him, to be honest I think he was awesome. There were games the AB scru, would get smashed but Pene would pick the ball up and always go forward.

That's coz Lomu was always double/triple teamed, think he came close one test. He's scored plenty against SA super 12/14 teams though.
