| Wow; the Bay weren't even in it and I'd look at the terrible game the 1/2 had. I was also a little disappointed as to the individuality of some of the HB forwards [Thomas the tank included]; they seemed to be playing for themselves and not as a team. BEtter luck next year I guess. I'd also add that on last nights performance from Canterbury I can't see either or Wellington winning the final if it plays like this again. |

| Unless Canterbury improve dramatically they're going to get done tonight...end of story. If they play well they will get close but still lose. Southland couldn't give a toss...they've got the Shield. HB v WN final with Welly coming out on top in a humdinga. $5-25 at the TAB is good enough for me. |

The canty team are a vastly different team without the 2 best players in world rugby, as Southland showed. When the teams don't have their AB's it levels things out hugely.

| will be a goodie this week, my boys playing to regain some pride after losing the shield and hb playing for higher honours. skills and that is all will be the deciding factor for us but if we lose we would have been beaten by a great team on the rise and playing good rugby and exciting rugby at that... |
