Ohhh- Johnny Wilkinson is back for England.
This confirms the desperation of the faded power that is England and at least the Aussies get a nice easy team first up.
Wallabies by 12 plus. |

| The lions tour helped the northern hemisphere in terms of looking at where we need to be, to be able to compete with the Southern hemisphere teams, the lions were unlucky not to have won the second test, and I believe the momentum of Leinster winning the heineken cup, Ireland winning the six nations and Paul o connels leadership on the lions tour puts us in good stead for a battle against australia, tommy bowe, o driscoll, o gara, o leary are all capable players, man for man, we will be a challenge for australia |

I dunno, Ashely-Cooper, Genia (sp), O'Connor & Getau are a huge threat and it was only really a uber AB defence keeping them at bay.
I can see the aussie backline scoring some trys, norther teams wont be used to those sort of attacking players. |

| Can't see then doing a grand slam. Talent wise this is one of the weakest Australian squads in the past few years. They just don't have the x factor to win the close ones. Can see them losing first up to England |

I think the Wallabies will lose at least one game on their NH tour. If they manage to lose just the one then I think Dingo will keep his job, if they lose more than one I can't see how the ARU could keep him on.
Obviously there are a few unhappy players in their squad and that will only get worse if they don't manage to have a good tour.
Although like someone else said they haven't got many options open to them if they do fire him, maybe Jake White would want the job!
For the sake of SH domination I hope the Wallabies get the slam. |

| It would be a major turnaround in form if Oz were to do it. Hope they do but can't see it, better teams have gone and failed. |

| Same here. There are certain times when I'd like to see the Wallabies do the business and this northern tour is one of them. Against the AB's there were occasions when they looked very dangerous and that's probably a good sign that this team is going to play well. |

| yeah pretty similar story here rc, though i wouldn't say "support the wallabies", more like "follow the wallabies"... (hard not to, with the wallaby glee club on Fox). i don't have great hopes of a successful slam for them, but i doubt that deengo doins will get the nudge as there is no one to replace him... he is a bit "on the nose" though... lately, as he hasn't performed the magical feats that the ockers all expected (for their investment). |

So, all Robbie Deans mud slinging aside, I live in Australia, am married to an Australian, own an Aussie Bulldog and support the Wallabies against everyone except the ABs.
I want them to get this slam badly as the real enemy is northern rugby at the end of the day.
England and Scotland shouldn't be too much trouble, Wales are injury plagued but what about the Irish?
Do the Wallaby forwards have the juice?
Should G Smith return to 7?
Was Elsom the right choice for captain?
Will they lose no matches, one match or more?
Will Robbie get the bullet if they don't get the slam? |
