Neil

North Canterbury, is that where they found all the extras for lord of the rings? I do recall reading it in the papers some time back, apparently the Cantabrians didnt even require any make up to look like orks.

Re:brett Reply to this message
I remember back in 1998......

Super 12 final it was....Crusaders VS Blues.....

I can remember it like yesterday, broke my heart that day, as I sat lazily in a beautifully glistening Auckland afternoon, I sat by in horror at the northern end of the hallowed garden of eden as Auckland loaned Crusader James Kerr charged down Ofisa Tonu'us clearance kick, planted his grubby little paws on a ball to score a try that started the dynasty that is The Crusaders, If I only I could turn back time,
how the pain still hurts.......but then the 2003 Super 12 final came around.....But I will save that story for another time

Re:brett Reply to this message
Blues have Stephen brett
Hurricanes have Tyson keats, Michael paterson and James broadhurst
Chiefs have two locks from Canterbury Kevin o neil and Callem retallick
Highlanders have Nasi manu and James paterson, so I think Canterbury actually does help the rest of NZ thank you very much.

It's the chain gang, missed the conversion I see, you bunch of dropkicks.

Glad to see you all made it home after pd,
you toothless, mullet head, ciggarette smoking, dole bludgers. Enjoy being second best to Canterbury, it will be that way for a long time to come yet, But I thought you'd be use to that by now.

nah_aye,

Yes Neil says some dumb things but don't you think you are making yourself look just as bad and silly with your comments about inbreds, sheep shaggers etc
This is a forum to talk about rugby not stupid comments like this or what neil says

Re:brett Reply to this message
neil just likes to stir it up- I'll admit I used to rise to the bait but really no-one is that myopic and there's also the flip side that he may not even be a Cantab at all- he was probably born and raised in Dargaville.

Re:brett Reply to this message
the paua bro, take it easy on our little inbred friend. Just last week he was going on about how great the lastest invention to hit Canterbury is. I had to explain it to him that the 'auto-mobile' has been around for some time now. Apparently they all ride their sisters down there.

Re:brett Reply to this message
Neil

Never mind our problems, can you expalin to me the following?

The National Geographic Society have commishioned a $200 million dollar report on the evolution of humans from h0m0-ergaster to the current form of mankind.Until late last year their scientist had thought that they had solved the riddle but alas on the 20th of September this year, one of them had been on holiday in New Zealand when they happend to travel to a small town village called Christchurch. They can now confirm the missing link in human evolution has been identified and can be found living in Canterbury. They have also identified certain traits in behaviour that is very remincesent of cave men. Firstly, all the women in canterbury are related to their husbands by blood. The men dispose of their partners by burying them under the stairs,Prostitution is the highest risk "vocation" in Canterbury as you likely to also be buried, runover or hit on the head. Last but not least the men of Canterbury have a fondness of all things wooly and prefer beef over lamb as they view the consumption of lamb a "cannabalistic act".

Re:brett Reply to this message
That is in fact the funniest thing about this... Canterbury supporter hates everything BUT canterbury... and he completely fails to understand that others can and do like teams other then there own... the idea is so foriegn to him...

Existing in such a small mind must be frustrating...

and if he was an Aussie supporter because of Deano, does he now become a Blues supporter because of Brett... and does he expect Hawkes bay supporters to back the Crusaders because of Guildford...

My guess is, his narrow mind would be able to understand that and all he will say is "canterbury, crusaders and that is all"...

A whole clan of losers lining up to take a conversion.

Now now children line up in an orderly fashion if you wish to tell me your problems, I'm sure us Cantabrians will be willing to share our secrets of success with you.

Re:brett Reply to this message
hey hey hey guys... our friend neil is a bit fragile...

He has a very narrow view... he loves everything in his nice little Canterbury box... and he is afraid of everything outside of it... so be careful... you might scare him...

Pity the guy, don't get angry at him...

the thing to remember is he is very funny, and I know it's not nice to laugh at others misfortunes, and he couldn't help it that he was born to narrow minded parents who brought him up in such an isolated world, and I know he couldn't help failing to gain any sense of ambition beyond his tiny little world... But that view is a very funny one...

and I know prodding him with a stick to get a laugh is nasty... but damn it's funny...
