France have three worries to their first team Picamoles, Harinordoquy, Mermoz these are key players Harinordoquy and Mermoz are injured, picamoles is in the team to play Samoa many believe he should be rested for the AB game.

| hey angus i dont have any feelings, one way or the other, about anthem quality, i just thought that the french disrespected the africans (i'm still searching for the truth on this - anyone who thinks they know??) but patrickbernard_my says that the performer was selected by the SARFU. as i said, i'm still searching. |

Very true Larksea didn't watch the game but a friend of mine did and he says French were dominant at scrum and lineout.
Watched the welsh game very poor thats about all I can say about it.

Like when they beat NZ in 07 they were never going to be able to get up and beat england the next week. that game was a forgone conclusion as much as the final was. |

French were pretty impressive though. Their fowards were powering though in the last quarter and the Boks looked like they had no answer (to be fair they were reduced to 14 with 12 to go).
Steyn's kicking game failed to get them out of their own half which put them under constant pressure. Looked like the Boks lineout went epic fail as well. The AB's will be weary not to repeat the same mistakes. With an improving lineout and Carters boot its pretty unlikely, but then again its the French. They're unpredictablity is their greatest asset. |

Haven't seen the match but from reports the French out muscled the world champs. They did get up to their sly tricks with a joke anthem (remember the jersey saga in '07). Maybe some complacency by SA? Have to see the match.
Before we get too carried away with bagging the Boks, think ahead guys, we have to face this team in fortress Marsaille (Fkng censor can't even properly spell the French city cause it has the word bottom in it!) in 2 weeks. Let's hope they've played their one big game and it's the "other" French team that turns up. |

Nah; this must be a mistake because De Villiers and a whole raft of egghead Bok fanactical licks have told us that this is the best ever rugby team. Strange that none of them have showed up on this thread to impart with some of their superior knowledge; or is it total lack of intelligence that they are now handicapped by. Don't normally support France[for reasons we are all obvious about] but on this occasion it has to be a well done.
