Well damn the Blues didnt make it ( why should they have )but hey they never should have.
I cant believe that they are so one eyed, so the Crusaders have a reason to call them selves real campaigners but yet the Blues say they should always have been semi finalists??????
How can the say that after a very real loosing streak and then have their coach say they are so good.
Well good luck to his Aussie chagers over the next few seasons.
Obviously he must be watching the wrong game much like the the one eyed commentators on that side of the tasman.
The Blues have never looked like a champions team after the first 3/ 4 rounds.
They have failed to capture their fans attention much different that the crowds and fans from the other less famed named smaller regions whom have no so called star players but have taken rugby to heart with real results so good on them.
Blues have for last few seasons played as their name states, bue.
Lets get some real coaches and real players whom can give for the board that pays them
Long may we all welcome it. |

| From a Blues supporter: Congrats to the Canes, I am glad they still got through and the Blues loss didn't effect their semi final finish, but i'm afraid it will only be for one more week, the Crusaders will step up this week now they are actually playing for something. Not taking anything away from the Highlanders though, they were brilliant. |

The Stormers will spank the cowardly Lions but the Sharks and Waratahs will struggle to beat the Chiefs and Reds.
There is still hope and I'm clinging to it. |

Great game last night - the intensity was certainly there! 37000 think so.
I'd just like to say one thing here. Troy Flavell has taken some stick in the last few weeks and I'd just like to say well done and all the best to him for his future in J*p* an. He's been on the wrong end of some tough situations - some of which were out of his hands.
During the 2007 season, I was lucky enough to go down to Eden Park and "meet the Blues" on a school outing. I found them to be most approachable, friendly and seemed genuinely glad to be there with the young kids who were in awe of their hero's. I got to take several photos of my son with Troy, John Afoa, Big Joe etc etc and they were interactive and good-humoured.
It was my son's birthday treat going to the game so we stuck around for autographs afterwards. The last players off the paddock (half hour after the game as the lights were going out) were Troy, Tuitavake, Mealamu, Jason Eaton, Gopperth, Jerry, Nacewa and a couple of others. I had brought along some of the photo prints from a year ago and again, Troy was more than happy to autograph and chat with those in the crowd. He wrote a birthday message and signed my boy's Bluebird cards and took the time to thank and shake hand with whoever wanted to. There was a press conference to go to but he stuck round and stayed out there as long as possible.
I salute you Troy Flavell. Under trying circumstances, you've stood tall and taken it on the chin. Good luck to the Blues.... I hope you're still in the mix next week! If not, good luck in *** an. You deserve it. |

| You are "good enough" if the points dictate so at the end of the season tht you scored enough points and won enough games. I don't think the Blues have done enough either to be honest, and it is fair to say they don't deserve to be there, but if the Hurricanes can't beat the Blues with "everything to play for" then they didn't deserve to be in the semis either. |

| you suck for half the season win two of the few you do by lucky penelties, then when you start getting disiplined and following the coaches game plan you start to win.....so the justice is this....when you play the team game keep you head down and your mouth shut you win but when you think like a pratt you lose, and no semi will teach that lesson....unfortunatly the players learning the lesson are leaving.... |

{The Blues don't deserve to be in the final this year}
Heh, heh, thanks GK, just when I get the confidence up, you and juzz tear it down.
I may be late on this seasons bandwagon but I still can hope.
Go Blues! |
