Re:LETS TALK ABOUT NZ FOOTBALL Reply to this message
Yes the all whites need to step up to get recognition. Its sad to know that when spoken of there is hardly anything good to say at the moment about our national football team. But i like everyone else will continue to show our support, through thick and thin.

Re:LETS TALK ABOUT NZ FOOTBALL Reply to this message
where are all the nz football fans going? i say this with utter concern because it seems that selective reading is being practiced in this soccer forum.

nz football is where it is at, but some seem to be sidetracked by other issues.

the issue here - is the all whites and its world cup ambitions. we need to help each other and put in some formative posts, ready to reviewed by fellow passionate nz football fans.

once again, this thread is the greatest one around in soccer. keep it up.

Re:LETS TALK ABOUT NZ FOOTBALL Reply to this message
that does it. thats about the 20th time you have called this a great thread ( i read through and counted last night) and its about the 40th time you have said how delightful yahoo/xtra are. i refuse to read or comment on here anymore, as you are obviously a yahoo/xtra employee, or have some other hidden agenda. good luck with that.

Re:LETS TALK ABOUT NZ FOOTBALL Reply to this message
good morning passionate nz football supporter. no need to get worked up over my great thread. i absolutely hope that i dont come across as someone you look up to - because we are all equal and we all differ in opinions.

as i attested to before - i am the shining light in this soccer forum. and yahoo/xtra know it. hence the thread is still up and running.

but we are here for nz football. yes i know ricki herbert will be trying to keep the all whites busy, but with our performances in the confederations cup, i doubt we will attract some quality opposition. and yes i doubt the european clubs who pay wages will let our players go for friendlys.

i certainly hope nz football improves over time. and i certainly hope nz football fans continue to show their passion

Re:LETS TALK ABOUT NZ FOOTBALL Reply to this message
shining light? thats not a shining light, mate.. its the glare of your coc k because you're polishing it too hard. i hardly think that no goals at the confeds cup is a result of poor attacking strategies. they just came up against considerably better teams is all. so long as we improve (which we did) then herbert is doing a good job.

are you really sitting back and waiting herberts next move? wow. you need to get out more. i will tell you what his next move is, o shiny one.. he will try and arrange a friendly or two vs middle eastern opposition before the WC qualifiers later in the year.. he will make sure all players in his plans are able to make the games and not be held back by club duties.. its the european based players that will be most likely to be asked to consider not playing international friendlies, by the clubs that pay their wages. The WC qualifiers fall in a FIFA arranged window where clubs HAVE to release their players, but the friendlies wont, so its imperative the best XI get to play together as much as possible.

for gods sake please try and post something that doesnt generalise, and try also to look like you actually know something about football, scarytw@t. if you post even one more self congratulatory comment, then i wont bother commenting on this thread anymore.

Re:LETS TALK ABOUT NZ FOOTBALL Reply to this message
first and foremost i am the shining light in this soccer forum. why? because this thread is still up and running. it also attracts people who want to debate about issues other than nz football. sad realy. we should be in it together - not against each other.

nz football - thats where we are at right now.

and right now, ricki herbert needs to really think about his attacking strategies. no goals at all during the confederations cup. pathetic realy really pathetic. but i and many other nz football fans will sit back and see what his next move is. although a draw with iraq meant we didnt lose it still says that we accept draws. i like to win. and thats one thing we havent done in a while against a quality team.

enjoy posting with you fellow nz football fans. nz football needs all the suport it can get.

Re:LETS TALK ABOUT NZ FOOTBALL Reply to this message
scaryface it astounds me that you still dont realise how ridiculously high and mighty you sound, both in regards to how 'wonderful' your thread is, and to your 'support' for the all whites. appropriate MB behaviour, maybe.. but any real fan would belt you if you were to come across so high and mighty at a game. i'll keep an eye out for you, TW@T

Re:LETS TALK ABOUT NZ FOOTBALL Reply to this message
and that is why threads get deleted.

i am the real nz football fan. hence why my thread is still up and running. as you see, there will be people out there who will try and discredit my opinions, because quite frankly all they want to do is moan, groan and debate over things other than nz football.
you people should try learn from me, then maybe you'll improve on your overall self esteem issues.
this thread is about nz football. positive and negative opinions are what makes it.

are there people out there angry at the fact that i make absolute sense? i find that quite hard to believe and it makes sad reading knowing that some just have no interest in nz football at all. very sad.

all whites need to improve dramatically to make it to the finals. if they dont make it, cut Ricki Herbert. come on, really - celebrating a nil all draw? i didnt pay for sky to watch my national football tem score no goals in the confederations cup.

ps. thank you realitychecker for the post, nz football fans are most welcome in this thread.
