| A loss and a draw to two minnows is not good enough. Look on the Confederations Cup website and leave a message. But you will see that Tanzania supporters were amazed (and rapt) to get the win. Where is our steel? Italy 7 NZ 0 I predict. And Sth Africa have just beaten Poland so perhaps another dismal Con Cup. |

feel free to add some input into this great football thread that hasnt been deleted. i put this thread up so the world can see that nz football is thriving, and to encourage nz football fans to come out of the dark and jump on the nz bandbagon. some come in to have fun and talk football, others - well their posts says a lot of theselves.
cant wait for the confederations cup. it should bring out the most loyal fans to nz football.

the truth is that we need another professional football team here in nz.
we have the players we just need to fund the development of the younger generation and hopefully they could gain experience somewhere along the line and come back and represent new zealand or the all whites with honour and make a name for ourselves.
well done nz football fans for supporting this great thread.
feel free to add to it - nz football needs all the support it can get.

| with the wellington phoenix in the A League, should nz football try and include another team - say from the auckland region? if they put a well documented cause forward to the administrators surely we can - esp with all the players we have here in nz. |

hows it going chaps.
i see some are still getting sidetracked and seem to show their utter disdain for nz's national sport.
this thread is about nz football - and from reading some posts made - some ignore the topic at hand, and are mainly here to moan and groan. very sad and immature i think
stay on topic chaps, stay on topic.
nz football needs fans, positive fans i must say.

I see more IDs are being bannd from these threads for telling the truth - something the NZRFU spends thousands of dollars to hide and conceal.
I won't bother here any more. Far more intelligence on other boards where free speech and the truth are encouraged.
Shame on XTRA for allowing the NZRFU to dictate to them.
And this comment will get me banned but it doesn't matter anyway. I won't be back!
The truth is football is global and rugby is not. Even more Kiwis play football than rugby. Those are facts and the NZRFU hates anyone to know it.

Correct, I've mentioned the true reason for certain threads being erased, and it doesn't take a genius to workout they are deleted because of their foul nature. But yet we still have these football moaners saying xtra erased my thread because they don't want the truth - WRONG

hopefully nz football fans can contribute to this great thread and stop the arguing and bickering.
this thread is the truth.
if you are a true nz football fan - add to it - it might help footballs profile here in nz.
for those that dont like NZ football - feel free to leave this great thread.

oh why are we crying conspiracy theories everywhere gentlemen?
the reason why this thread is still going is because yahoo/xtra accepts it as a good natured thread where people can express themselves in regards to the topic at hand.
theres no need to get riled up when comments get deleted, if you stay on topic then everything will be alright.
there are many sports topics on yahoo/xtra.
some postees like to rant on about something they obviously hate. and i have noticed the extreme hatred of soccer fans towards nz's national sport - Rugby.
lets face it and move on. Moving on means talking and doing something good for nz football. not crying over why yahoo/xtra delete this and that and how they are protecting rugby this and that.
nz football needs us football fans . and i mean nz football.
