The english will be shaking in their boots wishing the All Whites are not in the same pool with them.
I also see that wharfie and ajax are taking things personal with my informative posts. I understand the frustrations that the All Whites have created for you guys. Its hard being english isnt it.
You are a fake wharfie72 and now I see that ajax is fighting for you. Is it a coincidence that all of a sudden another id defends you ? Cant handle so use another id ?
Now for those that dont know, wharfie72 the liar (sounds funny) does NOT support nz football nor the All Whites. Have a look at some of the threads and she clearly states that he doesnt follow NZ football but absolutely loves the EPL (english premier league) and doesnt rate any of nz footballers.
wharfie72 also claims to have gone to the match but an hour after the fulltime whistle hes at home posting up comments (made to me in fact which is quite disturbing) on yahoo.xtra's football thread. This says hes an english liar who is infatuated with my informative posts.
But for all of NZ football fans - enjoy the week because we are off to the football world cup 2010!

I am Dutch, and English football is very popular. I also don't understand her hatred of the English.

Haha wow, scaryface_weka, you honestly have some deep down issues that I don't quite understand lol. First of all, why are you constantly dissing the English? How is 'englishman' an insult?
If you think being called an 'englishman' when it comes to football - you must have a big screw loose.
Okay, so England isn't that great at their football INTERNATIONALLY... simply because the English players are all the 'heroes' at their respective clubs and when playing together they lack that companionship that other countries can pick up so easily. But hell, each English player that plays for England is still the man.
I'm a Spain supporter personally, and I believe they are the most talented bunch of players on the planet. Torres, Villa, Fabregas, Casillas, Puyol ... all magnificent players for both their country and their respective clubs, but how many cups and competitions has Spain won? Not a lot.
So please, stop harrassing fellow football fans and opposing countries. NZ is a youth nation when it comes to football. It's not our national sport yet, but it is growing and I'm craving for the day when Football becomes NZ's favourite sport.
Go the All WHites! 2010 WC Here We Come!

I know its a challenge for you english to be taught a lesson by others but I do hope you guys dont endanger yourselves whilst holidaying here in this great country of nz.
englishman wharfie72, you resort to verbal abuse when you are under extreme stress. Listen here lad, its not ok to turn to violent outbursts. You call people fake,idiots,english but yet it is you who has a problem with the truth. The truth is, you are english and you would die for anything english esp. when I talk down the EPL or any english player. How can I be fake when I am the only one who supports nz football - whats your advice for nz football or are you here to make excuses why england are useless at football? I think it is you who gathers information from the internet. English - enough said.
Johnniedavey, I look back on the threads and I think this is your second farewell. Its obvious you are infatuated and amused by my expert writing - its ok to admit it englishman. You come across as a sulking englishman who gets hostile when someone points out englands failure in international football, almost to the point where england (the football team) is a complete joke. Multi millionaires failing to reach euro 08 , world cup failures you name it - unbelievable! And you sit here and tell me I dont make sense? Wow the failure is in your blood yes? I understand.

a word of advice, before pressing the 'Post Reply' button try pressing the 'Preview' button and then try reading what you have wrote. Most of what you have wrote doesn't even make any sense. Oh sorry, that is your usual way of writing...
The only thing that you are passionate about is yourself (I'm NZ's no.1 fan, I'm qualified, my expert knowledge etc etc). You say you have caught me out? How? When? To try and catch me out about football, you would first have to know something about football yourself. No chance of that happening then. As Wharfie and others have quite rightly pointed out, you are a fake. It is clear that you know nothing about football, never have, never will.
I have waisted too much of my time trying to teach you something about football, as you obviously think having watched half a dozen games of football in your life, you are now the world's leading expert on the game. So I bid you farewell, I am sure that others will correct you and you will continue to think that everyone else is wrong and that you are the only one that is right. |

As you have noticed I write in all threads to lend my expert knowledge on something I am passionate about. There is no need to get your knickers in a twist just because I mention the failure of anything english.
Claims of not being english is quite funny. You say I write rubbish? Look at the mirror I suggest. I criticise where criticism is due, and I praise likewise, and offer my advice to my beloved sport. Now is that hard for you boys to accept? It must be judging how you guys have combined to form captain planet.
Johnniedavey, you say I was wrong with cahill,fowler,smeltz,nels on, rooney and the rose? Are you that old now that you cant read between the lines? ! ha Caught you out there. I know very well about Tim Cahill and how his socceroo aspirations were almost not realised due to his representation of Samoa at age grade level. You see all you could have done is ask. I purposely left out his name just to get a bite out of you, and yes you did! For a minute there I thought you were going to ring the british prime minister to let him know that I refuse to acknowledge a has been (fowler I might remind you). Smeltz and Nelson will walk into the english team, which will not only guarantee savings in monetary terms, but possibly a football world cup trophy- too bad they are with the All Whites. rooney is an overpaid spoilt brat. He will never win a football world cup I tell you now. The rose you say? That was suppose to rark you up, since its englands rugby team that has won a world cup recently for your beloved england.
You see, that wasnt so bad yes? I know for a fact you englishmen will be supporting bahrain.

Yes what scaryface seems to forget most kiwis were brought up on English Football. Back in the seventies in the days of the old NZBC and then TV1 and TV2/South Pacific Television, me and my schoolmates all used to watch programmes like 'Match of the Day', 'The Big Match' and 'The Road To Wembley', later came 'Premier Soccer', 'Big League Soccer' and 'English Football' before sky tv took over the coverage. All of us 'adopted' a English club to follow. The only local football that was shown on tv was the Chatham Cup Final and the All Whites (although they were not known by that name back then) and maybe a match involving a touring side. |

Johnnie, I think scaryface likes to see his ramblings in print on line. You are 100% correct in saying his knowlege of football is awful and for some reason hates the English. I am not English but I also watch the EPL - it is the most popular league of any sport in the world. Go to Singapore on a Saturday night and you will see thousands of Singaporeans in their team shirts watching the EPL. Maybe they are all english in disguise as Singaporeans?!
I have no fear of the English, and I think Paul Ifill is one of the A-Leagues best players.
I get the feeling that scaryface is a juvenile with a computer and a lot of spare time.

I will correct you if you write rubbish about football from any country, the fact remains you have xenophobic views that are not welcome on these boards.
According to your theories I must be English because I am a fan of English football. I then must be Span.ish, Italian, German, Dutch, Scottish, Welsh, Irish and a lot of other nationalities too, as I have followed their football too. But your theory says that I am not a New Zealander, even though I have followed the All Whites since the late seventies. And because you have started watching them play over the last half a dozen matches or so you have now become an expert. Yeah right! |

Another couple of quotes from you to show your total lack of knowledge of Football. The list of nominees for this year's FIFA World Player of the Year award includes Wayne Rooney and fellow Englishmen Steve Gerrard, Frank Lampard and England captain John Terry.
As much as I would like to see them on the list, there is no room for Smeltz or Nelson (or any other All White), as of course, they are not in the same class.
Rooney, Gerrard, Lampard and Terry are also all up for this year's European Footballer of the Year award along with Welshman Ryan Giggs. I expect Cristiano Ronaldo to pick up both awards.
Kelly Smith of England is on the list of nominees for this year's FIFA Women's World Player of the Year award. |
