I think the top 4 clubs in the EPL will contest the Champions League and the following two ( or three? ) will make the UEFA Cup. But you should be able to understand what I meant. |

| Before the next EPL season gets underway, I suggest that every team sends their accountants to a meeting. Each teams finances are checked. The three poorest teams are to be relegated. The three richest teams can contest the EPL title, and the rest can fight it out in meaningless games purely for pride with the remote chance of a UEFA Cup spot should the 4th, 5th and 6th richest clubs fail to get those spots. It looks like more of the same next season, but maybe chelsea will pip man utd. The matches are great and the football is world class and superb, but the eventual outcome will be de javu. |
