thanks for that apologist piffle. DINGO was on a honey moon period but was still the coach regardless. Henry as most of you morons would proffer did not walk into a team that was bereft of issues they were certainly there and he worked the team through that and despite losing at the world cup still managed a great strike rate and keeping the ABs right up there.
The issues are always going to be there with our national side but to post up that Deans has no bearing on Aussies' last lot of results indicates to me how incapable you haters are of seeing things for what they are.
Deans was instrumental in screwing up a decent RWC campaign but you seem to forget that don't you? When you run the world's best Fullback off the field for one of your own and keep the world's best centre out of the mix too well well well... let's just blame old MITCHIE shall we? Whatever. Dream on.
As posited previously he was supposed to do the deed last year. Nothing! Now move to Aussie! LMFAO |

| so last year deans was supposed to mastermind the down fall of the allblacks?, as wonderful as that would be i maintain he is a brilliant coach . . . but still human, the wallabies before last year were completly woeful (although still managed further in the WC than the allblacks) and you'd expect deans to completley overhaul the team and impose his style of game in two months, last year was never the year for the wallabies as they were still undergoing changes and deans needed to test his players to see what he needed to do, this year is when i expect to see something from the wallabies and every year until the NZRFU smartens up for a change and signs the world cup winning Deans in 2012 |

Just a little off tyhe mark there Simply Unique.
Firstly the crusaders didnt win the super 14, the Chiefs did better than them so there is no way you can make up a mojaority team from either.Especially from a crusaders side, can you imagine Stephen Brett at this level?. If you take the Aucklanders out of the AB'S youre going to lose more games.McAlister had the worst game of rugby in his life.But currently , he and Donald are our only options. Im sure when Carter comes back he will also have trouble at first.
I dont think we should be worried about Deans as much as the Springboks. Deans ofcourse is an Aussie now , supporting him is also supporting the Aussies. |

its quite scary when you say that. world cup failures, 1991 captain was pakeha - failed miserably. 1999 - captain was tangata whenua - failed miserably, 2003 - pakeha failed miserably, 2007 - need i say more.
i believe that the all whites football team need more tangata whenua or pi men to show more flare. it would brighten up the game here in nz for sure.

The difference buddy is this.
Deans is a brillant coach, he has imagination and vison as a coach, and will take the aussie side from strength to strength.
Compared with Henry and Co, who have all the muscle and skill and flair but no imagination how to coach them.
Look with all the pacific islander influence in the abs all we have seen so far is individuals with ball in hand.
Huge problems are ahead of the abs, if they dont learn how to have alot of imagination. |

| The reason he waS only moderatley successful in 2003 is due to the fact he was ASSISTANT coach to mitchell and the selectors chose spencer over mehertens culminating in the allblacks not having a competent goal kicker and if you review the stats on that wallabies vs allblacks semifinal, had we had a goal kicker we had enough penalties within range to win that game, oh and mitchell and deans' "moderatly successful" cup challenge was still more successful than henry's embarrasment |

| As an aussie who's living in and has adopted nz as home for the last 14 years of my 20 year life, and also as an rep player and junior coach, i beleive deans' tactics and coaching ability are superior to henry's however henry has superior players to work with. I would have loved to see deans at the helm of the allblacks as the players in nz suit his tactics perfectly ane the WC would be all but assured for nz however thats now the way it has turned out and we now see deans' impact on the wallabies this year, giteau has stepped up and now finally has a chance against carter and the new wallabies coming through seem to be better quality that the new all blacks but only time will tell, all i can say at this point is . . . one trophy has already left the allblacks cabinet and it looks as though another 2 will fall come august |
