| Before 1987 South Africa have won 21 tests against the AB's 18, so dominant for sure! In 1986 we beat the so called "Cavaliers" and most of them were in the 1987 WC squad, so cannot see how so many AB supporters can be so sure that SA would not have beaten them in 1987. |

nah south africa will win the 2011 cup they'll become the first team to go back to back
the all jokes will loose to either france or australia we wont even make the final
the country will descend into chaos deep hatred of foreigners happy because their teams are still alive will be the cause of violent attacks and rioting the domestic violence stats will be at a all time high
the referee of the all jokes game will be beaten and hospitalised dark days are predicted for 2011 |

| these messageboards are tough,,,if you dont think the ABs are the best in the world your called unpatriotic,i just dont think we have the players to win it,,infact,,,ive never known an AB side that has the potential(on a bad day)you feel like they could lose by 30 points,,,ive never thought that b4,,its no ones fault,,,in a few yrs time,,we may have more great players at one time,,,,2 just isnt enough..i still worry about hooker,,both locks,,no 8,,2nd five,centre,one wing and fullback,,sorry but i think mills has had his day,,,i do rate Jane,.hope im proved wrong |

Graham Henry said before the last World Cup quote "Judge me on the World Cup" unquote.We all know the results of that World Cup. The N.Z.R.U have alot to answer to Tew an co are ruining Rugby, so much for the people who put them there. | With Graham Henry still coach and Rokocoko (butterfingers droppingthe ball all the time)still being able to bumble around then NO NO NO . Why don't they try new blood not ones who have had their day been given lots of chances and still don't bounce back.A fresh approach is needed not the same old same old hoping it may work when it doesn't |

I'm with you (altho i'm not a yarpie). The All Blacks WILL NOT win the next World Cup (or in fact any future Rugby World Cups) at home or not. We just have to face the facts - we are not good enough.
To win the World Cup you dont just have to win 4 pool matches against understrength sides, you have to put 3 good games together against world class opposition like Australia, France, Argentina and England (to name a few). I was in the south of France in September 2007 when the All Blacks were frollicking in the Mediterranean shagging any French girl that looked at them and staying in the best hotels. Meanwhile the South Africans were training, after just having won the Super 14.Thats the same Super 14 that the "cotton wool Blacks" missed half of so they didnt wear themselves out.
OK lets pick another side - England. After getting thrashed 36-0 in the pool match against SA what did England do - go back to England with their tail between their legs? No way! - they trained and trained and came out in the Quarters and ground Australia out of the game. Then they went on to beat the French and get into the Final.
Want another example of the mental toughness that the All Blacks just dont have? Argentina - scored the biggest upset to the host nation in Game 1 of RWC07. Did they relax and think "well we have done our best" - hell no! They ended up winning their Quarter final (more than you can say about the All Blacks)and beating France (again) in the playoff for 3rd/4th. I was there at Parc des Princes - the Argies showed more heart that day to end up 3rd in RWC07 than the All Blacks had showed all season.
So have we learned any lessons from Black Saturday in Cardiff? No, we hired Graham "judge me on my World Cup results" Henry back on, within a month of our worst World Cup result (ever)!!! Have we shown any tendancy to stop putting a black jersey on the next guy that plays a good Super 14 game? No! We will lose RWC11 cos we aint got the bottle! |
