| Sometimes I do get sick of it, especially after we've done a kickar$e one and then we get beaten. As for other teams having to respect it, well, why? They should be able to do what they want, I mean we're all big grown-ups aren't we and it IS mean't to be about a game of rugby. |

| Watched this doco on the All Blacks the other day, and they showed the old teams, from the Originals to teams from the 60s/70s performing the haka........man, they were terrible, lol. I wouldn't be surprised if Maori felt offended. |

| I have no problem with the haka being performed - per se. However to say opposing teams shouldn't repond or challenge back is absurd - essentially you're saying 'whilst we do this you have to stand and listen while we get ourselves fired up, you can't disrespect us or walk towards us or even look at us'. Come on that's just absurd. With respect to the anthem I thought there were several NZ players singing it last weekend and it was great to see! |

Standing their in silence is just not on; not when we see all other teams standing proud and singing to the man for their country They are a disgrace to their country and need to put their loyalties far beyond that of the money and colour of their jersey. |

In fact listen to the comments from the English commentator for that match who by all accounts has a better sense of why we were treated to a mischievously cut piece taht aired in the sports news. | brettandrew, while i agree that it was a bad look you cant ban the Haka just cos of that! Have you ever done it? i have many times and it pyches me up to no end. It shouldnt be banned it is part of our history and it is part of kiwis. We should be above knee jerk reactions, but obviously we are not! |
