I don't have a problem with the All Blacks doing the haka.
But I am sick of it. Not the dance itself but the big song and dance made over it. I'm sick of people getting their panties bunched up over it and acting like it's the most important thing in their lives.
And I'm sick of other sports codes like Basketball, Softball, Hockey and League doing it too, if anything they should get their own haka or just not do it. And I don't like supporters doing it and upsetting people from other countries and embarrassing the rest of NZ. Especially when the NZ team is failing like in the 2003 America's Cup yachting.
But I have no problem with the AB's doing the Haka or other Rugby teams. |

Pubs for idiots? what like the outback or the redback? people fascinated were probably slappers looking for ANY conversational topic, people being polite or they were taking the piss.
I am HIGHLY sick of the Haka. No I'm not against it or anti-Maori. I just wish they wouldn't make such a big deal over it and that only the All blacks did it and not all these other sportsmen and spectators randomly. How about only before Rugby games, or even return games and not get so stroppy if other teams dare respond to it. It's a challange and they can respond how the want to as far as I'm concerned. All of this attention it gets is very boring to me.
P.S. isn't it offensive to half the iwi in Maoridom anyway? |

| I wouldnt say that i'm sick of just never liked it or see any relavance for it. It doesnt represent NZ it represents maori and their customs which arent mine or the majority of people living in this country. Time for a change as far as i'm concerned. |

I think this board pretty much sums up why broadband, and even dial-up, should not be made freely available to all NZers. You really should have a licence to be able to connect.
People, the language we use to communicate is called "English". It was a subject at school so there's no excuse for not even being able to form a coherent sentence.
Some of the rubbish on here just doesn't make sense, even allowing for the odd typing error.
I think people with such a poor grasp of the language should be herded into a pen and 12 random shots fired into the crowd, the survivors can go free. Repeat this exercise every 12 months, and the literacy rate would soar. Harsh but fair |
