"Kiwis won the Rugby League World Cup buddy,Whether you like it or not,So Fk'n Negative,Should be proud as a nz'r no matter what frikin sport."
Who's being negative? I'm glad they won the cup but the point remains that compaired to Union and Football, Rugby League is not a global sport. End of story. It doesn't mean it is not a good game. It just means it is not well followed outside Aust/NZ/GB. |

it must make you angry that nzders support the cooking channel more than the rugby channel ( hahahaha )
So, if the all blanks were even more cr*p and lost all their games, by your reasoning, NZers would not support them?
Not every football fan follows Man Utd, Chelsea, AC Milan, Real Madrid etc. Football fans are more loyal than that. |

By accusing others of that 'stuff' you really are only incriminating yourself.
Have you ever considered coming out of the closet and just admiting it? That could be an option for you? |

ermmm, how do you get ""and now you admitt you like watching water polo "" from ""More registered waterpolo players, for example, in the world than union players."" ?????
Daquack17, have you ever ever in your life been to a school???
Now I know why most football followers go to other websites for intelligent forums. It's because there is limited intelligence here.
I can watch rugby league and often do, but as for union, it is so boring that after a few minutes, I switch to the Cooking Channel ( which is more popular in NZ than the rugby channel ) for a bit of excitement.
As you probably don't know, by accusing me of watching "" men with no shirts tickle your fancy aye aye aye!!!! lol"", you have given your own game away as now I know, that is your secret ( or maybe you are out of the closet?? ) fantasy. Maybe that's why you enjoy scrums so much??? |

I said six weeks ago I would be working overseas and away from the internet so when I go, some brainbox agrees with what I say using another name and hey presto, that was me!!!
The powers of deduction!! So many Einsteins on this forum!!!
Rugby League is ten times more exciting to watch than B-O-R-I-N-G union.
And no, union is NOT the worlds second most popular team game!! More registered waterpolo players, for example, in the world than union players. No surprises there!!
Rugby is only world famous in ......NZ!
Probably union has the greatest registered mass of fat in the world than any sport. That, I can believe!! |

| Rugby is the 2nd most played team sport in the world so I wouldn't call it ignored. There are about 95 ranked countries listed by the IRB that play tests. If you're going to call a sport insignificant on the vast world stage, go to the Rugby League forum. |

I have been working overseas for the last near 6 weeks.
Heard nothing about the All Whites v Fiji nor anything about the all blanks. I'm guessing that the overseas Kiwis did not return to NZ for the game v Fiji??? But Beckham made the news about his trip to NZ. A world famous celebrity playing the worlds most popular sport - of course that makes the news. But fat no necked plodders beating some UK teams in an insignificant sport ignored by most of the world - of course that did not make the news !
DUH!!! |

From watching the news it seems the NZ ratepayer will have to foot the bill for a projected loss for the Rugby World Cup 2011 |

It should be called the quad Nation tournament because to call it a "world cup" ( haha I always laugh when I see it called that) is misleading and false advertising. There is only one World Cup and it sure as hell has nothing to do with an insignificant 'sport' called rugby.
But......it is world famous in NZ! |
