Re:Henry must stay Reply to this message
Every Argintine player played his best game, They should be proud to hang their jersey's with pride in their homes and clubs. I hope the All Blacks who were at this world cup are not given their jersey's to display anywhere.
I believe that before you can have a test jersey you should have been the very best player at that time to wear it, not a mix of selection of 30 odd men waiting for a turn to play. that is just crazy.
Only the very best of the best should win a test jersey.

Re:Henry must stay Reply to this message
With this famous win over France I am half expecting a) all the fairweather fans to come out and say we couldn't do to France what Argentina did so we really are crap b)Los Pumas to start talking it up and wanting to line up New Zealand just as England did when they were dicking everyone else. Now you might say why not and I will say (in particaulr to all the haters and gimps that gave us a hard time after our loss) Why? Because they really need to play the best to know how good they are. Argentina would never accept a proxy win just because they beat a team that beat the Abs they and everyone else know it. Thankfully Henry in his four years has set a standard which speaks for itself in terms of successes. Would you have been so convinced if we came into this tournament with an English track record? Somehow I doubt it.

Re:Henry must stay Reply to this message
And that would be fine too fatty. it was just a repsonse to all these high profile people that were having brain explosions right left and centre and is usually the case with these phuckers they tend to pull rank and no-one has the bollocks to think for themselves or where we see someone up there expressing an alternate line. So it's really about us expressing what we would like.

Re:Henry must stay Reply to this message
No, I didn't see that, but sounds about right.

Henry Should Stay!

Does anyone remember England in 1999??? No. Me neither, and yet 4 years later they had forged a team that deservedly won the RWC. A large part of this can be attributed to stability in player selection and coaching retention. It's time we realised that swinging the axe after every bad performance hasn't worked in the past so lets not keep on repeating the mistakes. As I kept seeing on every billboard for the local elections, it seems to be everyones slogan "Time for a Change", YES, but not the coach, just OUR attitude as a nation.

QUESTION: How is support for Henry to keep the job gauged? Public Opinion from talkback radio? Message Board trawling? hahaha, but really, How is it that straight after the event the powers that be more or less indicated his head was going, but now it looks like they might do a 180?

Re:Henry must stay Reply to this message
did you receive this a cou0ple of days after the ABs loss?

People are baying for Henryʼs blood. One game. The country again is being suckered by the media into choosing who should go. If the powers believe that Henry has underperformed then surely they as the people who chose Henry for the job should also go (NZRU board). The questioning of the teams commitment to the job is a cop-out particularly when these comments are tempered with hyperbole.. Donʼt buy it. Iʼm appalled and feel for the families of the players (including the players) that these guys are having their desire to win and passion for what they set out to do being brought into question. Now more than ever Henry is the man for the job given his work with this team and what has happened.

Coach Henry should stay!

Re:Henry must stay Reply to this message
Old Hamish hasn been looking like a lost puppy hasn't he? Dobson is still runnign his abtrasive and unclassy mouth. I wish I could give hime th b-slaps. Whetton (and the others seem to agree) that therehas been a lot of surprise about oublic reaction. it seems that there might actually be some thinking going on at the top regarding the continuel cleanout at the end of a RWC campaign. What boters me is that they say we are gettign used to losing. Oh Hell NAH! we love wining what is happening is that reality is beconign acceptable and reasoning is settling in. Cool heads must prevail. There will be no hungrier coach that could front this team now than Henry.

Re:Henry must stay Reply to this message
Tru...HENRY shud stay, why is it always the coach's fault, this has been the best result in a long time, hey we hav won everything else, so what we didn't get the world cup,wat about the all the other cups that Henry has under his belt, wouldn't it be just as good to win it here in 2011 under the reigns of the existing management team they already have, why don't people look at the likes of getting rid of the NZRU management, they have a lot to say but so little to do....HENRY HAS TO STAY, for us to have a chance of winning the cup in 2011....

It doesn't matter who coaches the AB's........

All to do with attitude.....need to lose the "we are the best, so we will win........" then the AB's might just win!

From the horses mouth, I don't think he wants to stay. Wants to spend more time reconditioning with family.

Re:Henry must stay Reply to this message
Henry can't stay. He and the players all fucked it up. He won't admit he was wrong to do rotation and reconditioning. He won't even say his players played badly.

The All Blacks have always succeeded when they have had long-term combinations. The All Blacks have always succeeded when they have scored lots of tries.

Re:Henry must stay Reply to this message
white and smeagal seem to have hit their straps so not a totally stupid suggestion. I think it's likely the public may be as vociferous as Davies in terms of getting someone off-shore to coach. I've already aired my opinion on. That should suffice me-thinks

Re:Henry must stay Reply to this message
I think Henry should stay. Everytime we don't win the world cup we sack the coaches, yet we still get the same result....Henry has taken the All Blacks to another level...so we lost a game....we just have to move on....I think the All Blacks come under pressure when it comes down to the one-off games....I think to get more practice for these type of situations maybe we should make the Bledisloe Cup just one of the matches in the Tri Nations....that way we know we have to win and if we don't then we have to wait til the following year.....
Well anyway....keep Henry,Hanson and Smith they've done a wonderful job.....why do you think everyone was so upset...it's because the Team that the coaching staff have built.....Awesome.....

Keep it up....for another 4 years.....

i agree with you.its not his fault we lost or the a.bs.if he goes that just gives another team the chance to get to where we are now but maybe this time he'll finish what he started out doing???
