| They have just updated the rankings this week, since the final has been played, we still on top. Where we belong. We are still the team to beat. Thats why you love it when we loose. Coz it dont happen very often. |

hmmm.......my bad. But those rankings are last weeks for 15 Oct, lets wait for them to update the site this week.
Anyways guys, your rugby players are in much the same boat as our cricketers ( I cannot stand Graeme Smith/ Mickey Arthur). They went to cricket WC ranked as one and choked in the semis..... |

| Maybe its the SA IRB site. Where they are the best. Ha! One game dont make you the best. So because Argentina made it to the semi's, does that make them a better team than the ABs? I think not. Look at the big picture people. |

| To everyone in this forum, please go check the IRB site now. SA is number one. Secondly, Jake White deliberately sent his 3rd string team to the Tri Nations, simply because he wanted to rest his best for the World Cup. Clever man. From SA's performance in the Super 14, one can clearly see that SA rugby is clearly getting stronger all the time. To all those sick people commenting about the houses in SA: at the end of the day, a 3rd World country won the World cup cos of their talent, skill and passion. Give credit where credit is due. I believe the best of the Boks is yet to come (if politicians don't interfere). I remember NZ palyers whining in 95 abt how they had food poisoning etc, blah blah blah, seems like a similar story is going down here again. Face it,at the end of the day, the best team became the World Champions. |

what a dumb *** comment. The AB's are the best for that very reason...they are the most consistant. They on average only drop 1 test, per test calender year and regularly go unbeaten through a test calender year. They are unbeaten at home for the last 4 years, they have a 75% win ratio against the Boks since they returned to international rugby, the Boks couldn't beat us this year and only took one game of us last year, and that was by 1 point after we thumped them by 25 or 30 the week before in Pretoria. And as far as the North goes, they haven't got within a country mile of us for years.
Even Bernard Laporte said after the French beat us in the 1/4 that we are the best and that if the French played us again they wouldn't be able to beat us.
When we win the Bledisloe and Tri-Nations again next year after feasting on England as a warm up, I suppose we still won't be the best then either, just the most consistant.
