The best hostel in New zealand is Wellington Downtown Backpackers,
They are centrally located, next to the Train and Ferry Terminals,
Clean and Tidy,
and very affordable,
And i am fom Auckand so im am not being bias just honest
I am a Travel Consultant and regulary use them for clients that are needing shortterm Accommadation while they are in NZL |

| That's interesting because I've heard the opposite from other overseas people...not sure about inner city hostels...the YHA in Upper Queen St is OK, and there's always the Fort St Backpackers as well. There's always other hostels in suburbs in Ponsonby or Parnell that might be worth investigating. |
