Bel Air ??? ..looks stunning and absolutely gourgous .... but dont be fooled ... DIRTY DIRTY DIRTY...
stains on duvet??? mould on windows .. the list goes on with pics to prove. reccomend inspection first ..in daylight .. |

| we stayed at the Islander on Cavill Ave. Right in the middle of surfers, and superb value. a little noisy, sure.. perfect otherwise though. will definitely stay there again. |

| We stayed at Broad Beach Central Apartments. Its not a high rise but the apartments are absolutly beautiful! 2 mins walk to the beach, 5 min walk to Pacific Fair and easy access to transport. Boy it was cheap aswell! something like $750 for 7 nights! Well worth it. Highly recommended. It is just as good as any other flash aprtment building in the area... maybe even better. Has a pool aswell. |

| We we went over to the Gold coast for our honeymoon and stayed at the Mantra Phoenician in Broad beach.Found it very nice ,close to dining and shops,casino. |

| Stayed at magic mountain it was ok but heaps of steps to get anywhere & pools were cold. The santorini just below it is better or was a couple of years ago anyway, also stayed at the break free savanna and found it dirty and shabby, Diamond sands was very good also but the best i've found on the gold coast in that price range is the bel air right across from pacific fair. If you are going to the sunshine coast you cant go past the novatel twin waters. |

| Breakfree Diamond Beach was nice. 100metres walk to Grocers on corner of street with Gold Coast Highway, and double that distance to Pacific Fair. NIce Place. |

| We also stayed there a couple of times (Magic Mountain Resort) and it was fabulous, great views, clean roomy apartments, reasonable rates and close to bus stop if no vehicle. Terrific! |

| Best place we found is magic mountain resort in miami. Awesome place, obviously we went in winter so the pools were a tad freezing, but the whole place was lovely. Home away from home. |

| We've stayed at Surfers DelRay a number of times and found it also to be very good. Close to town and transit centre. Very quiet also. Down the road also is K Resort which is good too. |

I know nobody asked about Singapore, but the worst filthiest grottiest dingyiest Hotel to avoid is 'The Inn at Temple Street'. Didn't even have a window! Rooms were tiny and underneath the bed was about ten years worth of dust, hair, toenail clippings, toothpicks etc.
If it was cheap then fair enough, but it was expensive.
Never go to that Hotel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

| Always stay at Mermaid beach. It is away from the hustle and bustle of broadbeach, surfers and mainbeach, has local supermarkets, great access to busses, parks and of course the beach. A hop skip and a jump from everywhere it is the best location on the Coast |
