Re:Jetstar Launch Reply to this message
Good grief what a sore lot you are! It took me 11 tries to get through - my PC crashed but I managed to book a round trip fare, Auckland to Wellington for $6 including the card fee. Haven't used them yet so can't compare service but really who cares for a one hour flight. Have you tried getting on an Air NZ flight if you're late to check in??

Talking to some ozzies here in the US, and they say Jetstar is absolutely terrible, backed up by some yanks in the same conversation that had flown with them.

Re:Jetstar Launch Reply to this message
Yeah well - if you had previously booked with Qantas, you will find that you have been bumped off to Jetster, and where with qantas you would have got a meal or refreshments during the flight as part of the ticket price, now you will have to pay for them - not included even though you have already paid for them. Still, who owns Jetstar? Typical Aussie scam!!

Re:Jetstar Launch Reply to this message
I got the cheap flights...$11 ea way Ak - Queenstown....had thought I missed out, as site crashed after putting my payment details in. Wasnt till I turned PC on that night that my itinerary was emailed to me...got a heck of a surprise!! 5 tickets and now are unsure if we can go :-( unforseen circumstancs. Good thing is the only charge $30 to change the name on ticket, so might be able to flick em off.

Re:Jetstar Launch Reply to this message
Yeah, I got all the way to the end of filling out all the forms, pulled my credit card out, had finger poised to hit continue and damn - site crashed. spent next 1 1/2 hours and got nowhere. But I will say they are still the cheapest at the mo if you are not picky about what dates you want to fly.

Jetstar Launch Reply to this message
Two hours of wasted time yesterday trying to get cheap Jetstar flights on-line.the system booted me off just after you get your contact details loaded, I wonder if Jetstar actually sold any cheap tickets, but a high profile PR exercise plus I am now being bombarded by Jetstar emails. Really upsetting way to launch - hope they learn some lessons from this PR disaster.
